Senior System Administrator

Job Context:

At Cefalo, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior System Administrator to join our growing IT team. The selected engineer will get a chance to work with a highly experienced IT Systems Administration team, working with the latest technology stacks, and exercising industry-standard principles & best practices to build scalable & robust IT Infrastructure for the company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing IT support to software development teams working in Windows / Linux / MAC platforms.
• Installation and configuration of office LAN and Internet connectivity products (Switches, Routers, and Firewalls) and maintain data/network security.
• Maintenance, troubleshooting, and configuration of DNS server, Proxy server, SMTP Server, DHCP, FTP server, Bandwidth Manager, Wireless Router, etc.
• Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software interfaces with operating systems.
• Conducting technical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with the current system
• Ensuring smooth internet connectivity and troubleshooting internet bandwidth and routing issues.
• Providing sound IT solutions, and health checking for the whole IT infrastructure.
• Managing all communications with the Internet Service Providers and IT vendors.
• Managing existing IT network and plan for expansion.

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Network or IT Systems Administration
• Prior work experience in any Software/IT company will be considered as a plus.
• Professional-level knowledge working with office LAN, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Data & Network security.
• Prior experience working with DNS, Proxy, SMTP, DHCP and FTP servers, Bandwidth Manager, Wireless Router, etc.
• Any certification related to IT systems or network administration (i.e. Red Hat, Cisco, etc.) will be considered as a plus.
• Familiarity with virtualization tools and cloud infrastructure
• Prior working experience with different Firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco, PaloAlto, CheckPoint, etc.) will be considered as a plus!
• Prior working experience with Endpoint Security Solutions such as ESET, Sophos, etc. will be considered as a plus!
• Self-managed, independent, initiative, and proactive; open to learning new technologies.
• Very good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English to collaborate with foreign stakeholders.

Educational Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Diploma in IT, or equivalent practical experience.
